Water Tank Cleaning in Arabian Ranches
Water tank cleaning in Arabian Ranches is the most straightforward of any area we cover: every villa has its own roof tank and booster pump, there is no building management in the way, and the only things we need are the community gate call and someone at home. Desert dust is the reason it needs doing annually.

What's different about water tank cleaning in Arabian Ranches
Ranches roof tanks are exposed to wind-blown sand from the open desert to the south and east of the community, which works its way past lid seals and overflow screens and settles as a fine layer within a year; villas on the golf-course side see less of it. Most tanks are single GRP units of 1,000-2,000 gallons, which keeps the visit under three hours.
Sand, lids and overflows
The Ranches sit at the edge of open desert, and the wind-blown sand that packs AC condensers here also finds its way into roof tanks. It gets in around lid seals that have dried out in the sun and through overflow pipes with missing insect screens, and it settles as a fine layer on the tank floor that the pump stirs up every time it starts. Annual cleaning is the sensible interval; villas backing onto the desert on the Mirador and Palmera side sometimes need it sooner, and villas along the golf course can stretch a little longer.
The visit
We come through the community gate — security phones the villa first, which is why we send you the technician’s details the evening before — go up to the roof, isolate the tank, drain it, remove the sediment, scrub, disinfect, rinse and refill, then restart the booster pump and run the taps until they are clear. Before we leave we check the lid seal and overflow screen and tell you if either needs replacing. The water is off for two to three hours; most families book a weekend morning.
Part of an annual plan
Because a Ranches villa also needs its AC serviced twice a year, most of our customers here fold the tank clean into an annual plan: AC in spring, tank in early summer, AC again in autumn. It is cheaper than three separate bookings and it means nothing gets forgotten.
